There are many questions regarding religions and how many Gods there are. There are four major religions: Christianity, Islam, Judaism and Hinduism. Each one worships a different god, but they all share the same God. This article will discuss some of these religions with their gods.
Hinduism
Many gods are found in the Hindu religion. Many of these gods are minor and can be assimilated to the central pantheon. They are often associated with the great gods either as children or friends. For example, Hanuman is a god who appears in the Ramayana as Rama's assistant during the siege of Lanka. He is Parvati and Shiva's son. Another important god is Ganesha, an elephant-headed god who is the remover of obstacles. His worship is done at the start of every major undertaking.
Islam
Islam teaches us that there is a multitude of gods, angels and men. These immortal beings serve as the link between God's will and ours. They sent messengers like the angel Gabriel to relay God's message for the prophet Muhammad. Angels are therefore not subjected to unbelief.

Judaism
Judaism is a world religion that worships God. The Jews believed in God and made a covenant to follow the laws he had given them. Jewish people are careful to adhere to the letter and spirit, but they also strive to do what is best for God. In Jewish religious life, holiness is incorporated into every aspect of life. They do everything to glorify God and honour his work.
Christianity
While Christians believe the Bible only speaks of one God, some Christians believe the Bible includes multiple gods. This is a common misconception. For example, the Bible doesn't mention that there are 3 gods. It only says that God exists through three persons. Some Christians may even pretend there are 3 gods.
Sikhs
Sikhs believe that there are many gods that can help us in our day-to-day lives. They don't all look the same and each person's actions have an impact on the others. Sikh belief system places great emphasis on doing good deeds for those who have died. Today there are approximately 700,000 Sikhs living in America. Most of them come from India. Sikhs are most commonly seen in America worshipping at a Gurudwara on Sunday. On Wednesday and Friday, however, formal services are held.
Buddhism
Buddhism is known in the West as an "atheistic" religion, but this does not mean that it is devoid of deities. Instead, Buddhism holds that there are many gods who help people in their daily lives. Although these deities are made up of many forces from nature, they all have a purpose in Buddhism's worldview.

Polytheism
Polytheism can be described as a tolerant form religion. It allows the existence of multiple gods. Many religions have been worshipped throughout history. Exodus reports that the ancient Egyptians worshiped thousands of gods.
