Humanity: A natural phenomenon
Biological insights had a significant impact on the study and understanding of human nature in the nineteenth-century. These insights challenged many of the most popular theories of human nature. They challenged the notion that humans were created by God directly and have no other origins. This caused a debate over the nature of human nature. Although some religious traditions were against the idea evolution, others believed that the explanation of human nature can be found in biological principles.

Non-realists
Non-realist philosophers and theologians of religion don't believe religious beliefs are based in objective reality. They believe religion is a construct of human psychology. They view religion as a guide to behavior and do not believe that humans are omnipotent.
Classical Theists
Classic Theism's philosophy focuses on the idea of a transcendental being who exists in the world but who is also active there. This God is often referred to as an ideal model of moral perfection. It is usually thought in very personal terms.
Thomistic theories
There are two dominant tendencies in the theodicy debate. There is a revival of philosophical theodicy among the analytic philosophers and religious theologians. This movement is marked by a shift to the problem of evidence from the logic problem of evil. Second, theodicy critics call the desire to do it an ideological and irreligious endeavor.
