Western religion is a tradition of JudeoChristian faith that is common in the Western World, especially in the domestic environment. This tradition has been closely related to modern secularism's development, but it didn't develop in a vacuum. It evolved within a specific ideological and cultural context. Although some people practice traditional Western religions, others have left the faith. Some are more hostile to this tradition.
Christianity
If you believe that Christianity is just a Western religion, you are mistaken. This religion is a global phenomenon. It's practiced by people in more than 190 countries. It is a powerful force in this world, and it aims at uniting people from all parts of the country. Its followers are devoted to its doctrines.
While Christianity has been the dominant religion in Western World for many years, it is no longer the case. Christianity today is stronger than it was in the West. This is only part. Many Eastern groups have clung to the excuse that Christianity is a western religion.

Marxism
While Marxism may be questioned by some Christians as a political philosophy or religion, most Christians disagree. It is important that we recognize that both religions can be used. The Christian faith affirms that God created mankind and that man is an individual. Marxism argues against this view, and says that man is socially as well as culturally interdependent.
Marx is not an atheist. Yet, he was a materialist who held strong beliefs in science and was highly influenced by scientific inquiry. Thus, his atheism was manifested in his opposition to religious belief.
Progressivism
Progressivism, in western religion, is an idea which aims to make the world a better one by eliminating old beliefs and replacing with newer ones. Instead of relying on divine guidance for guidance, this method of religion focuses on the attempt to correct the mistakes of the past and to reshape our present. Progressivism rejects notions of a soul. Instead, it seeks to create an artificial, naturalistic reality. However, while Progressivism seeks to eliminate old beliefs and replace them with new ones, it also offers hope for society.
The progressives believe that humankind is on History's "right" side and that it is possible to discern History’s goals. They claim that progress is the result of changing human values. This ultimately leads to a reconstructed history free from religion and classes. Unfortunately, this view doesn't have any scientific basis and is based on an extreme ideological and religious outlook.

Eastern Orthodox Church
Some Westerners believe that Eastern Orthodox Christianity is a Western religion. They find this absurd. Recent incidents have raised concern. A priest from the Orthodox Church in America was briefly expelled after he wore a cassock to the rally in Washington, D.C., in support of Unite the Right candidate. Other clergy have also voiced their political opinions via social media and personal blogs.
Orthodox Christianity is centered on the Holy Trinity. This concept transcends the traditional Western religions. Orthodox Christians believe Christ died on the cross, entered Hell and rose again to save souls who had been condemned by their original sin. In this way, he cleansed mankind from its guilt and extricated them from Hell.
