Minotaur
There have been many mythological creatures that have appeared in Greek history. The Minotaur is one of them. Minotaur comes from the Greek words Minos & 'taur which mean 'bull'. Minotaur also had Asterion as his first birth name. This was a reference to Taurus the bull constellation. Minotaur is feared by Greek mythology because of its terrifying appearance.
Colchian dragon
The Colchian Dragon, a mythological creature, was mentioned in ancient Greek mythology. It guarded and was a giant serpent. It is said that it poisoned fangs and was huge, but the myth does NOT describe how it kills his prey. According to the legend, Medea killed the dragon.

Three-headed dog
Cerberus, the three-headed dog from Greek mythology, was the guardian of the Underworld gates. He was also a frightening beast. It was described as having a snake tail, snake hair, and lion claws. Euripides tells us that Heracles was sent out to capture Cerberus, the god Hades. Hades asked Heracles that he use only his weapons against this three-headed dog. Heracles fulfilled the request.
Merpeople
In ancient Greek mythology merpeople were attractive female figures who lured men to the water and luring them to their deaths. They were also called sirens. These creatures sang seductive songs to lure men into their graves and swam across the ocean. Although the Christian church disapproves of this practice, ancient Greek authors attribute merpeople to Aphrodite the Greek goddess love and pleasure.
Erymanthian boar
The mythical Erymanthian beast was an enormous boar with wild and untamed characteristics. The Erymanthian boar lived in the glens and marshes of Lampeia, Erymanthus.
Colchian lion
The Colchian Dragon is a fire-breathing giant serpent who guarded the Golden Fleece according to Greek mythology. Jason, the Greek god of war, sought the Golden Fleece. Later, the Argonauts took it. Jason and the Argonauts encountered the dragon during the story. Jason was helped to defeat the dragon by Medea a witch.
