greek mythological characters

Babylonians had an efficient, simple government. They had laws and punishments. Only one ruler was allowed to rule. They had harsher laws than we have, and the basic units in society were family and tribal. Also, the government was responsible for widows orphans. It had adoption policies as well as marriage markets.

Amma-an-ki

Dogon attributes Amma an-ki as the creator and sustainer of life on Earth. The mythology says that Amma-an-ki's first contact with the Earth failed to produce twins. She believed she had broken the universe's order by creating twins. The jackal was therefore associated with disorder and difficulties. However, a second intercourse with the Earth resulted in the conception of primordial divine twins.
